I have been in practice since 1971.  A major focus of my practice is continuing education which my entire staff avails themselves of frequently so that we can offer our patients the very latest techniques and materials.  Our goal with each patient is to do a permanent kind of Dentistry so that when we finish, our patient's mouth feels comfortable, functions well, looks great and what we've done lasts a long time.

My Associate Dentist is Dr. Mark Carreira.  He is originally from Veazie and is a graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School.  He served in the Marine Corps, he was a Dean's List student at the University of Maine where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology.  Dr. Carreira then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he was an honor student.

Dr. Carreira lives in Eddington with his wife and four lovely daughters.  They are all happy to be here and look forward to "the way life should be" here in the Bangor area.

Dr. Carreira enjoys fishing, hiking and biking and is an active member of his church.  He is very friendly and is committed to providing the very best that modern Dentistry has to offer for you, our patients.

Our practice has three licensed Hygienists, three certified Dental Assistants, a Scheduling Coordinator and an Office Manager.  Together, we formulate a treatment plan specifically for each patient and do our best to make it as affordable as possible.

There is no pain in our office.  The areas requiring treatment will be taken care of without any discomfort whatever.  This is very important to all of us and our patients appreciate that.

A main part of our practice is Cosmetic Dentistry.  I am a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry - among only a few in Maine - and to be able to offer a patient a new smile which is natural looking and attractive is a source of deep satisfaction for us.  Our cosmetic patients are without exception thrilled with the outcome.
